As Y/N hums to herself in front of the mirror of her cosy suburbs studio apartment, she finishes tying and adjusting the delicate pink ribbons in her hair. Today marks the beginning of a new chapter as she embarks on a journey at the gym, her old haunt now just a memory lost to bankruptcy. Determined to make the best of the situation, she adorns herself in her signature style: pink from head to toe, with ribbons adorning every possible accessory.

Her gym bag, a pastel pink tote adorned with lace trimmings, lies open on the floor, waiting to be filled with essentials for her gym session: a change of clothes, a water bottle, a towel, and a well-loved ballet slipper keychain.

Y/N carefully selects her workout clothes, opting for a comfortable yet stylish ensemble that allows for freedom of movement during her exercises. She chooses a pair of sleek leggings, a breathable tank top, and, of course, her signature ribbon hair tie, which she already put on.

In addition, she packs her resistance bands for strength training, her woman's emergency kit, and a jump rope for cardio. Y/N also includes a protein bar and some fruit for post-workout fuel, knowing the importance of refuelling her body after exertion.

As she slips into her gym shoes, she mentally prepares for the intense workout ahead. Before heading out, she double-checks her bag, her fingers brushing against the small compact mirror nestled inside, a gift from her mother that she carries with her everywhere.

With one final glance at herself in the mirror, Y/N smiles, satisfied with her appearance. Adjusting the ribbon in her hair one last time, she grabs her gym bag but stops as her gaze drifts to the corner of her apartment where her ballet equipment is neatly arranged. The sight serves as a reminder of her passion for dance and the dedication required to pursue it.

With a determined smile and excitement bubbling in her chest, she slings her bag over her shoulder and heads out the door, ready to conquer whatever challenges await her at the gym.

Arriving at the new gym on the suburban side of the neighbourhood, Y/N can't help but feel a flutter of nerves mingled with anticipation. She takes a deep breath, inhaling the scent of sweat and determination that permeates the air, before stepping inside.

The gym is bustling with activity, the sound of weights clanking and the rhythmic thud of punching bags filling the air. Y/N's eyes scan the room, taking in the diverse array of gym-goers, before settling on an empty spot near the back.

As she makes her way towards the treadmill section, Y/N can't shake the feeling of being watched. Glancing around discreetly, her gaze lands on a group of men huddled together near the boxing ring, their eyes lingering on her pink-clad form.

Unnerved but determined not to let it ruin her workout, Y/N sets her gym bag down and begins stretching, her movements graceful and fluid. Her ribbons hair tie dancing in the gym air.

Catching people's attention. Man's attention like hungry h0rny & perverted sharks.

She begins to feel it is a bad decision to come to this sketch part of town but this is the only gym that is open today and within walking distance. The uneasy feeling of her persists, growing stronger with each passing moment.

Just as Y/N is about to retreat to a less crowded area, a voice cuts through the din of the gym. A couple of men coming closer who she swore she saw were hanging near the boxing ring before.

"Hey, you new in town, sugar? " The guys in middle 30-s starts to talk to her as she runs on the treadmill. It hums softly as she steps onto its surface, the rhythmic thud of her sneakers echoing in the bustling gym. With each stride, the motor whirs, propelling her forward with a steady cadence.

Should she talk or stay silent?. Silence is a valid option. The ignorance provokes the guy, he laughs nervously with his other guy friend. " It's not nice to be rude.. when we are trying to be nice" Y/n doesn't know what to say to be honest in this situation, also why aren't there any women today?.

The front door of the entrance dings followed by a sound of a bike, bringing more the merrier and hope it doesn't bring trouble, the two guys who are disturbing her glance to see who enters and later on ignore their existence. Their focus drifted back to her. How should she handle this?.

"Come on, girl. I can teach you how to lift weights and even many more-" there is no end to this, one of the guys starts to get closer and tries to touch her. "If you put your hands on her, I swear I'll fxcked you up" Y/N's is about to get harassed but her eyes widen as she finds herself being intervened by a ruggedly handsome man, his piercing gaze locking onto hers.

She feels a surge of relief and gratitude wash over her, grateful for his intervention in the face of harassment . Is not like she is some damsel but this place just gives her the creeps. She isn't used to this environment. The guys go back to their daily workout routine. Leaving them both together.

He stands tall and confident, a stark contrast to her delicate frame and pink ensemble. Clad in a worn-out black top and a pair of gym shorts, with a mop of tousled hair and a smouldering gaze, he exudes an air of danger that both intrigues and intimidates her. He is... trouble.

"Thank you," she has always been taught to say that, and that is the only thing that makes sense at this time. Yes, being thankful and appreciating people's help.

Despite his previous actions, he maintains his robust and tough-looking nature, muttering bluntly. His voice is low and gravelly. "I just don't like sh!t like that in the gym I always go to. Don't get any ideas."

"Uhm, alright." she replies , extremely awkward.

"Do me a favour, don't come to this part of town again. Soft and faint-hearted girls like you aren't meant to be here. Be gone," a straightforward sentence of his is like a dagger to her heart. Not gonna lie, that makes her kinda irritated & hurt, but she just keeps it silent and walks out with her personal gym belongings.

"What a load of bull," she stomps on the ground while holding the bag. She rarely curses, and that guy is more annoying than her own brother. He is straight-up condescending and judgmental.

From the corner of the man's eyes, he watches the ribbon lover woman throwing a tantrum like a little kid outside, and must feel good to let things out like what he does with boxing. He begins his exercise ignoring her, stretching and putting on his hand wraps like usual. Punching a few bags away. Wishing it can be the best outlet for his .. issues.

He shakes his head away, recalling a sure memory that can never be erased even though his skull has been hit so many times in the ring, he can never forget .. those days.

Time skip

The sun streams through the windows of Y/N's cosy studio apartment, casting a warm glow over the room as she prepares for her ballet lesson with a group of eager children. With a gentle smile, Y/N adjusts the ballet barre against one wall, ensuring it is at the perfect height for her young students.

Dressed in a fitted pink leotard and a pale pink ballet skirt, Y/N exudes grace and poise as she ties her hair into a neat bun, the epitome of a ballet instructor. With each movement, she radiates passion for the art form that has become her life's calling.

As the children file into the room, their faces light up with excitement as Y/N greets them with a warm smile. "Good morning, everyone! Are we ready to dance today?"

A chorus of enthusiastic nods greets her, most of them giggling & gushing with how their dance teacher always looks "Miss Y/n, I love your ribbons! "

"Me too, Miss.. You look beautiful .. I love pink " Y/n smile warmly, love having people admiring how she looks. She somehow feels like an idol today & also a role model. She slips back into her teacher mode. "Now darlings, let's focus" gesturing to the children to focus on the upcoming class. They eagerly gather around the ballet barre, their tiny hands gripping it with anticipation.

"As usual let's begin with some gentle stretches to warm up our bodies," Y/N instructs, leading the children through a series of stretches and pliΓ©s. With each movement, she encourages them with gentle reminders to breathe and relax.

As the warm-up concludes, Y/N moves to the centre of the room, her movements fluid and graceful. "Now, let's practise our first position," she demonstrates, her movements precise and elegant.

The children follow suit, their movements a bit clumsy but filled with determination. With each correction and encouragement from Y/N, they improve, their giggles filling the air as they stumble and twirl.

Throughout the lesson, Y/N introduces the children to new ballet moves, from tendus to arabesques, each one building upon the last. With each step, she encourages them to express themselves through dance, to let their hearts soar with the music.

As the lesson draws to a close, Y/N gathers the children in a circle, their faces flushed with exertion but radiant with joy. Sitting close together. "You all did wonderfully today," she praises them, her heart swelling with pride. "Remember, ballet is not just about the steps, but about expressing yourself and letting your heart lead the way.

With a round of applause, the children bid farewell to Y/N, their laughter echoing in her studio apartment as they skip off to their next adventure. Alone in the studio with separate dividers , Y/N can't help but smile, her heart full with the knowledge that she has shared her love of ballet with a new generation of dancers.

But along with her passion, the person back in the gym last week comes to her mind. Why did he react that way?. Like she knew that part of the neighbourhood was downright sketchy but did he have to be.. so damn rude .

It's true he didn't owe her anything ,his attitude is freedom of speech and free will but why did he really help her in the first place if in the end he was gonna act that way?. She tries to rationalise the logic, searching for relevant reasons for his reactions and actions. Frankly, he was so annoying. Kinda snobbish. Aish, why is she thinking about him?. Out of nowhere, her phone rings. Typically it could be mum or her brother at this hour.9 am. She reads the id caller. 'Annoying Brother'

Y/N: answers the phone, slightly out of breath Hello , idiot..

Brother : Yo, sis. .Insults at 9 in the morning. How you have improved, my dumb dumb. Just wanted to check in. How's the ballet world treating you today? Kids doing fine?

Y/N: sighs It was good, exhausting but good.

Brother: Haha, knew it! You're always out there, twirling and leaping like a pro. Just don't twerk,in an 0nlyfans account

Y/n: God you are abomination-

Brother: I take that as a compliment ,btw .. are you okay? .You sound a bit off.

Y/N: hesitates Yeah, I'm fine. Just... thinking about something.

Brother: What's on your mind , little sis?

Y/N: pauses, considering Remember that guy from the gym last week? The one who helped me out?

Brother: Oh yeah, the sketchy dude that is more annoying than me. I don't think he deserves that crown & title. I am more annoying...anyways, what about him?

Y/N: rolls eyes & frowns It's just he's been on my mind lately. I can't shake off the way he reacted afterwards. It's like... I don't know. He helped me, but then he was so rude.

Brother: Maybe he's just one of those people who help out of obligation but don't really care afterwards.

Y/N: frustrated But why help in the first place if you're just going to act like that? It doesn't make sense.

Brother: People are complicated, sis. Maybe he had his reasons. Or maybe he's just a jerk.

Y/N: sighs Yeah, maybe.

Brother: Anyway, try not to dwell on it too much. You've got more important things to focus on, like your ballet classes. perfecting your pirouettes.. and also don't go back there. It's right what he says. It's a dangerous neighbourhood and I can't have my little sis getting mixed up with sketchy characters.

Y/N: frustrated Ugh, I can handle myself, okay? I don't need you hovering over me all the time.

Brother: chuckles Yeah, yeah. just steer clear from him... I am dude I know... that man is bad business. I just have a feeling..

Y/N: smiles faintly Yeah, you're right. Thanks, bro.

Brother: Anytime, sis. Just remember, I'm always here to annoy you.

Y/N: smirks Lucky me. Talk to you later.

Brother: You bet. Take care, little sis. Love you!

Y/N: rolls eyes Bye & love you too , ugh

*Y/N hangs up shaking her head at her brother's antics

, still mulling over her encounter with the mysterious gym guy*

"You know what, I'm still going to go there" Y/n checks her ballet lessons schedule, today is Sunday and tomorrow is Monday. Just on time for her next workout.

The next day

Y/N hesitates outside the familiar doors of the gym, her heart pounding with a mix of apprehension and determination. She holds on to her gym bag straps as outside gym street echoes with the distant wail of sirens and the constant bark of dogs.

Neglected buildings and trash-strewn streets set an eerie backdrop. The air is filled while groups of people loiter on street corners, their conversations punctuated by laughter and occasional shouts. The unsettling surroundings stand in stark contrast to the quiet neighbourhoods nearby. The one she lives at.

Y/N is dressed in her signature gym attire: a fitted pink tank top adorned with delicate ribbons and lace, paired with matching leggings that hug her curves in all the right places. Her hair is pulled back into a neat ponytail, secured with a ribbon that matches her outfit.

Despite his warning echoing in her mind, she can't shake off the nagging curiosity that has drawn her back to the same place where she encountered the mysterious gym guy.

Taking a deep breath, Y/N pushes open the door and steps inside, the scent of sweat and determination filling her senses. She glances around the dimly lit space, her eyes scanning the rows of punching bags and weightlifting equipment, searching for any sign of the guy who both helped and unnerved her. Today the gym isn't packed like the first day she came. It's certainly much quieter today.

She makes her way further into the gym, Y/N's heart skips a beat when she spots him across the room, his figure illuminated by a shaft of sunlight streaming through a nearby window. He is in the midst of a sparring session, his movements swift and precise as he dodges and counters his opponent's blows with ease.

Y/N watches him from a distance, her gaze lingering on the way his muscles flex with each fluid movement. Also he has tattoos. Why didn't she see that before? .Despite his warning ringing in her ears, she can't deny the undeniable allure of the mysterious gym guy, the same one who both rescued her and left her feeling unsettled.

But as their eyes meet across the crowded gym, Y/N feels a shiver run down her spine as she sees the familiar glint of arrogance in his gaze. It's as if he knows she has returned, and he's daring her to challenge him once again.

His words echo in her mind, a reminder of the danger lurking beneath the surface of this seemingly ordinary gym & also the outside. His words : "I just don't like sh!t like that in the gym I always go to. Don't get any ideas." "Do me a favour, don't come to this part of town again. Soft and faint-hearted girls like you aren't meant to be here. Be gone,"

She knows she should heed his warning and leave before things escalate further, but a stubborn part of her refuses to back down.

Taking a deep breath, Y/N squares her shoulders and approaches the mysterious gym guy, her heart pounding with a mix of fear and determination. Whatever lies ahead, she knows she can't walk away without confronting him.

As she draws closer, she braces herself for whatever reaction he might have, her head wrapped around the possibilities that this encounter could go down in so many ways.

" You are one stubborn cookie , aren't you? . There are so many gyms out there, why do you insist on coming here? I warned you," he comments annoyingly, taking a rest from his sparring session and stepping out of the ring. He's accompanied by his trainer and friends, she guesses. "I-I don't care, I'm still going here. For all I know, eat my ribbons, you jerk!"

"*chuckles* Thanks, but I'll stick to my diet and stop getting in my way," he responds, approaching her and towering over her. From this height, he looks so tall and yes he's shirtless, sweat dripping over his chest and those washboard looking abs. 100/100.It makes any woman salivate, but she looks away and goes to do her workout.

Why is he so annoying? Like god-level annoying. But... look at that body though. What does he do? What does he eat for breakfast? How does he want his eggs in the morning?

She gets all these thoughts as she runs on the treadmill, mentally drooling over his body while watching him box in the ring. His shape. Damn, she wants to know his workout regime. Oh yes, but most of all, what is his name? After all that, her soaking feeling about his body. She doesn't even know his name. The man who rescued her, saved her yet made her unsettled.

She sighs in frustration, lying down on the ground like it isn't a public place, but Y/n is famous for her quirks and fashion. She is also stubborn, not giving a damn. Why is she tired today? Oh yeah, she had an extended ballet class with a special student.

"Are you really a gym girl? You're tired already," the same mysterious gym guy appears out of nowhere at the treadmill section. "I am-- I am just tired today because the kid couldn't grasp what I taught," Y/n gets up.

"You teach?" He suddenly gets comfortable, sitting on one of the gym equipment. He has a shirt on now. Thank god. Spare her sanity. "Yeah, and why are you friendly all of a sudden--"

"Oh, I am not. I am just passing the time. My trainer has an ongoing call about a match."

"Match?"

"Boxing match, I don't know if you can't tell..." He says bluntly, showing his hand wraps, but she knows this is the perfect time to ask his name. She thought she could get it while he was training, but no. Just his trainer saying good, repetitive times over his boxing jabs.

"Okay. So, what's your name?" And yes, she also wants to ask, what's your deal with me? Helping me, then being rude, she thought. Not safe for soft girls like what do you mean, sir--

"I'm Jungkook."

"I'm Na Y/n."

"That would be all... we are not here to play house, softie." Jungkook finally stands up, looking at her, and returns back to his trainee. He is a boxer... and she is a ballerina. He is rough, and she has grace. There is no way she is attracted to him. Not in a million years. But what people always say... opposites attract. Push and pull like magnets. Negative and positive... bringing us closer.
